Settlement Support

Helping newcomer youth and their families find their footing — school systems, services, paperwork, and the unwritten rules of a new country.

The hardest part of arriving isn't the paperwork — it's not knowing what you don't know. Which school programs exist. How report cards work. Where to find a doctor who speaks your language. What "extracurriculars" mean for a university application.

How we help

Our volunteers — most of whom navigated this exact journey themselves — walk alongside newcomer youth and their families: answering questions in their own languages, connecting them to settlement agencies and services, helping decode school communication, and being a familiar face when everything else is unfamiliar.

We don't replace professional settlement services; we're the community bridge that helps families actually reach them.
